Camper vans. Since the Pandemic hit our shores in 2020, they've become pretty big business and it's surprising just what can be turned into a camper van these days. Take this Citroen Berlingo Multispace, for example.

It started life as an incredibly ordinary van, before having its load area transformed into a living space, complete with kitchen and the obligatory Rock'n'Roll bed. In the driving area, though, it was still exactly as Citroen made it... so very drab and pedestrian. Add wear and tear from all the miles and it was really letting the side down.

But now! Now the seats, doorcard armrests and gear gaiter are resplendent in Futura Lena Sonic leather hide, which is a striking mixture of both blue and purple shades and it's honestly difficult to decide which base colour it actually is. Finished off with a silver grey topstitch on the major seams, it's a lovely and vibrant place to sit now. The worn plastic steering wheel has been retrimmed in black Nappa leather with perforated grips. And, because campers gotta camp, the passenger seat is now mounted on a bespoke swivel base as well.

Here's to many happy excursions for the owner, now her little camper has a much more appropriate interior!
