This Z32 has some serious and very sad history. It's a very well known car within the Zed circles and it had had some extensive amounts of work done by the previous owner, Lee Edwards, who very sadly passed away in 2020. His very sudden death certainly sent some shockwaves through the Z32 community here in the UK and, ultimately, his cherished car needed to find a new owner.
And it luckily found a new owner who was more than prepared to continue spending vast amounts of money on it, and some of that money found its way to me in exchange for a beautiful quilted leather interior retrim. Crest Vele black leather hide has been used throughout, finished with a bright red topstitch. The diamond quilting on the seat centres and armrests is deep and plush and, as nice as the factory leather interior in this car was, its new upholstery is a very sweet finishing touch to an incredibly well presented vehicle.
And I had the great honour of having this Zed exhibit my work at the NEC in Birmingham for the huge classic car show in 2021. It's a testament to both its current owner and also its sadly departed previous owner as well.
