This was the first of many 350Zs to pass through our workshop and the owner had a very specific idea in mind: bright red leather.
So the seats were completely retrimmed in a suitably red shade of Italian leather and finished off with grey topstitching, to match the grey exterior paintwork. The handbrake handle, gear gaiter and doorcard armrests were trimmed in the same style.
The doorcards needed completely stripping and a bespoke design creating for them. So I decided to work with the very subtle curves of the doorcards and made new covers for them in red and black leather. This tied everything together beautifully.
Finally, the centre console was trimmed in black leather and finished with the same grey topstitching as everything else.
A startling transformation and one which I'm very proud to say won the Best Interior award at the 2015 Clarion Day, hosted at the Ace Cafe in London!
