This MR2's owner wasn't too smitten with the bright red cloth interior that Toyota fitted from new, so we came up with a design that would be more subtle but still eyecatching.
A light grey leather was used for the seats, doorcard inserts and gear gaiter, finished off with a matching thread for the topstitching. Extra embellishments were added to all the main seams on the seats to add to the subdued but elegant style of the new trim.
The steering wheel was trimmed to replicate the optional TRD wheels of the period, with grey leather on the grips and black leather on the upper and lower sections. This was finished off with the matching grey handstitching.
The finished cabin really transformed the overall look of this MR2 and actually worked incredibly well with the silver exterior paintwork.
